Southern Star Music Festival - Week 3 (Day 1)

The Southern Star Music Festival, based in Atlanta, GA, was created in 1993 by music educators for music educators. Bucky and Janet Johnson partnered with Six Flags Over Georgia to create one of the best festivals in the Southeastern United States. Thousands and thousands of students from high, middle, and elementary schools come to our festival each spring to have an outstanding educational and fun experience.
Choral groups may perform between 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Fridays and 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Saturdays. Instrumental groups may perform between 3:00 PM - 8:30 PM on Fridays and 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM on Saturdays. When registering your group, you can choose the exact date and time for the group's performance. There is no minimum number of performers to accommodate groups of all sizes; however, there is a minimum of 20 paid performers to cover the costs. Six Flags over Georgia is only open on Saturdays and Sundays during the Spring season.
