Riverside EpiCenter invites Metro Atlanta businesses and organizations to support its annual Fall Festival
Riverside EpiCenter's annual Trunk or Treat Fall Festival is preparing to welcome more than 3,500 people, and local businesses, organizations, volunteers, and community partners are invited to help make this year's experience unforgettable.
Every fall, the parking lot at Riverside EpiCenter transforms into a colorful celebration filled with decorated trunks, music, food, games, candy, and activities for the entire family.
Riverside EpiCenter's Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat gives families from Mableton, South Cobb, and surrounding communities a safe, welcoming, and community-centered place to celebrate together.
The invitation extends beyond Cobb County to families, businesses, churches, schools, and organizations all over the region.
This year's theme, "Around the World, One Trunk at a Time," will take families on a creative journey through different cultures and destinations.
The event is about more than distributing candy. It creates a trusted space where families can gather, businesses can connect with the community, and children can enjoy an experience designed especially for them.
"Trunk or Treat offers families a safe environment in their community to enjoy festive activities, receive candy, and have an experience they can trust," said Dr. Yvonne Amos, EPIC Experience Manager. "Riverside EpiCenter is a resource for the Mableton area, and this gives families the same excitement and engagement they may find elsewhere in a wholesome, community-centered setting."
A festival that continues to grow
Community participation has helped the festival expand throughout the past nine years.
Previous festivals have featured bounce houses, train rides, decorated trunks, food vendors, music, and family activities. This year, organizers are working to make the experience even bigger by adding horseback riding and a petting zoo.
Families will be able to enjoy entertainment, visit decorated trunks, participate in activities, purchase food from local vendors, and share an evening meal, all in one place.
"It continues to grow through community participation," Dr. Amos said. "We have food truck vendors, so families can enjoy activities, decorated trunks, entertainment, and an evening meal all in one place."
As the festival grows, so does the need for businesses, organizations, volunteers, and sponsors willing to support it.
Why this event matters
For many parents, finding safe and dependable activities for their children is a priority. Trunk or Treat gives families the excitement of a large community celebration in a familiar location, with organized activities and an environment created with families in mind.
Riverside EpiCenter serves as a gathering place for Mableton and South Cobb while also welcoming families from all over the region. The festival creates an opportunity for people from across the region to celebrate together and build new community connections.
"Families are looking for safe experiences for their children," Dr. Amos explained. "They want the fun of a festival without the concerns that can sometimes come with other events."
Riverside EpiCenter wants every family to feel welcomed, appreciated, and excited from the moment they arrive. Organizers also want attendees to leave with photographs, smiles, and meaningful memories.
"It is more than going door to door for candy," Dr. Amos said. "Our trunk decorators provide activities, entertainment, and information. We want families to have so much fun that they come back next year."
Help Riverside EpiCenter reach 100 trunks
In previous years, the festival has featured as many as 60 decorated trunks. This year, Riverside EpiCenter has set a goal of reaching 100 trunks.
Approximately 40 trunks are currently committed, leaving opportunities for businesses, churches, nonprofits, schools, community groups, and families to participate. There is no registration fee for trunk decorators or participating vendors.
Organizations can decorate a trunk around this year's international theme, distribute candy, host an activity, share information, promote their services, and interact directly with thousands of local families.
Participating organizations may bring approximately 2,000 pieces of candy, donate candy separately, or make a financial contribution toward an area of need.

Where sponsorship support can make a difference
Producing a free community event for more than 3,500 attendees requires significant planning, staffing, equipment, and resources.
Sponsors and community partners can help provide:
- Bounce houses and train rides
- The petting zoo and children's activities
- Candy, decorations, and event supplies
- The Cobb County mobile stage
- Food and family experiences
Support doesn't have to be limited to a traditional financial sponsorship. Businesses may also contribute services, equipment, food, candy, volunteers, or other in-kind donations.
"We welcome any offering that brings family-friendly joy and excitement to the families we serve," Dr. Amos said.
Why businesses should get involved
Sponsorship gives businesses an opportunity to connect with local families in a personal and memorable setting.
Because the festival welcomes attendees from across Metro Atlanta, sponsors can introduce their businesses to families from several communities across the western Atlanta metropolitan area.
A company can decorate a trunk, distribute promotional materials, host an activity, provide giveaways, demonstrate a service, or create a branded photo opportunity.
"Sponsorship gives businesses an opportunity to showcase what they do, engage directly with families, and be part of something memorable for the community," Dr. Amos explained. "It is a chance to serve while building visibility for their company."
When a business helps provide candy, entertainment, rides, games, food, or another memorable experience, its brand becomes connected to the joy families experience that day.
Donate or volunteer
Every donation helps Riverside EpiCenter provide a safe, welcoming, and exciting Fall Festival for the community.
Support can include:
- Candy and sweet treats
- Decorations and supplies
- Food and refreshments
- Activities and entertainment
- Volunteer time
- Financial contributions
Volunteers are also needed to help with setup, welcome families, support activities, distribute supplies, assist vendors, manage event areas, and help with cleanup.
Community-service hours may be available for participating students and organizations.

Join the celebration
Families, businesses, churches, schools, and community organizations from all over the region are invited to join this year's celebration.
The Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. in the Riverside EpiCenter outdoor parking area.
Registration is required for every attendee, including children. Families will select an arrival time during registration to help organizers plan for candy, staffing, and event operations.
Free parking will be available on-site, with overflow parking across the street at Word of Faith.
